Since our inception in 2002, we have grown to become the top-ranked destination for serious, yet relaxing massages, facials, and nail services. Beloved by those who have had a Nine Stones Spa experience, we offer eight treatment rooms, a natural nail care salon, men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers, state-of-the-art infrared saunas in both locker rooms, and a spacious and relaxing co-ed lounge so you can relax before and after your treatments.
We believe the quality of your spa experience is directly proportional to the excellence of our staff. Accordingly, we have assembled a warm and caring team of consummate professionals, each a highly skilled practitioner who brings a variety of treatment modalities and experience to every client. Our product lines include organic and natural skin care products from Naturopathica, and specialized, results-driven skin care from Intraceuticals. We also carry nourishing body care products from Farmhouse Fresh and Cause + Medic, along with a wide variety of unique spa gifts, jewelry from local artists, and self-care favorites.

The history of Nine Stones Spa
In 1994, Nine Stones Spa was founded after a humble beginning in a spare bedroom. As the years passed, it quickly became apparent that there was a high demand for a full-service day spa that offered high-quality services in Portland. In 2001, the spa expanded into a larger space on Commercial Street, where they began offering nail services and a retail store in addition to their existing bodywork and facial treatments. Nine Stones Spa outgrew its space in 2014 and took the opportunity to move to a new building to take the spa to the next level.
Today you’ll find Nine Stones Spa in a new facility on Fore Street, in a space that was carefully designed and considered from every angle to make sure that it not only provided the staff with a versatile layout that enhanced their ability to operate effectively, but also provided Spa clients with a soothing environment along with amenities that would be expected in a high-end spa. After about a year-and-a-half of planning and construction, in December of 2016 Nine Stones Spa opened its doors to the space you’ll find today.
Nine Stones Spa now boasts a team of highly talented professionals and support staff, operating 7 days a week with the overarching goal of providing the finest bodywork, aesthetics, and natural nail services in the very best facility.
