MyoLift™ Microcurrent

Using an FDA-cleared, clinically proven microcurrent machine, true microcurrent technology exercises the facial muscles and re-educates them. Microcurrent therapy is a way to stimulate the facial muscles with a small electrical current. That’s it! It is a simple, pain-free method that works with the body’s natural systems to re-energize the facial skin and muscles from a cellular level.

Benefits include:

  • Diminished appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improved muscle tone in the face and neck

  • Improved circulation

  • Cleared up or reduced acne

  • Lift of jowls and eyebrows

  • Sun Damage Treatment

  • Skin Pigmentation improvement

  • Product Penetration

  • Smoother, firmer skin

  • Hydrated and revitalized skin

  • Improved elasticity

  • Increase in natural collagen production

  • Increase in natural elastin production

  • Increase in ATP

Microcurrent is gentle. Microcurrent is one of the few modalities that achieves great results but does not irritate the skin. Because it is non-invasive, it doesn’t require injury to the skin to generate a healing response -- it is the most relaxing technique for rejuvenating your skin. How many modalities can say they complement the natural flow and function of your body to re-spark processes like collagen production?

The benefit of collagen production enhancement through microcurrent all comes back to ATP. As soon as microcurrent works its magic and recharges our skin cells with natural energy, these cells can function efficiently as they did prior to the aging process. Our skin cells are always producing some amount of collagen, but with the natural aging process, we simply don’t produce as much. When ATP is restored to our cells, they are more active in creating collagen for our skin to look its best!

Microcurrent can stimulate the nerves governing taste causing the metallic taste. This is not cause for concern and is normal for many customers. If the metallic taste persists you can rinse your mouth with water and it will go away.

MyoLift™ Microcurrent Contraindications

Please check through the following for any health contraindications.

If any of these conditions apply, we will be unable to use microcurrent devices during your facial treatment.

ELECTRICAL IMPLANT DEVICES SUCH AS A PACEMAKER:

This is because the electrical devices use an electrical current that keeps the devices working. Since 7E MyoLift™ also uses an electrical current, it can interfere with the electrical signal of a pacemaker, cochlear ear implant, or any other type of implanted electrical device.

FACIAL METAL IMPLANTS OR HARDWARE:

Metal implants or hardware in the facial area such as plates, screws, braces, or dental implants may conduct electrical currents differently than intended.

RECENT FACIAL SURGERY - INCLUDING FILLERS AND BOTOX:

We recommend 7E MyoLift™ treatment prior to any invasive procedure like facial surgery - but it isn't recommended until healing from facial surgery is complete. This is best so as to not disrupt the healing process of the surgery. Stay in touch with your doctor and make sure they clear you for a microcurrent treatment before scheduling this treatment post-op. At that point, microcurrent facial treatments can be brought back into your skincare routine in tiny doses to avoid irritating the recently injured area of the skin.

EPILEPSY; HISTORY OF SEIZURES:

Because Epilepsy can be caused by abnormal electricity flow in neurons and cells of our bodies, we do not want to risk the safety of the individual by increasing the electrical current in the body with the application of 7E MyoLift™ microcurrent stimulation.

ACTIVE CANCER:

If you have been diagnosed with an active form of cancer, it is not recommended you receive a microcurrent treatment. This is because Cancer affects the cells of the body, and one of the primary benefits and processes of 7E MyoLift True Microcurrent technology is its ability to boost Adenosine Triphosphate (or ATP) energy within the skin cells.

PREGNANCY:

It is best to hold off on 7E MyoLift™ microcurrent treatments while pregnant as a precautionary measure.

SKIN INFECTIONS OR OPEN WOUNDS:

Microcurrent facials should not be performed on areas of the skin with active infections, open wounds, or severe acne. The electrical currents may worsen existing conditions, delay healing, or cause discomfort. Clients must wait until the skin has fully healed before undergoing microcurrent treatments.

USE OF RETINOL WITHIN 24 HOURS:

Retinol tends to irritate the skin when it is driven deeper into the skin by microcurrent. This can result in increased irritation after the treatment, usually the next day, in the form of redness, puffiness, or irritated skin.

HEART CONDITIONS:

If you have a heart condition, microcurrent should only be performed after consultation and approval by your physician. This is an FDA requirement.

DIABETES:

If you have Diabetes, microcurrent should only be performed after consultation and approval by your physician. This is an FDA requirement.

PRESCRIPTION RETIN-A USE IN THE PAST WEEK:

If you have used prescription Retin-A within the week before your appointment, microcurrent should only be performed after consulting and getting approval from your physician.
